Our City App aims to grow into a #CityAsAService alongside cities and local authorities. In other words, to achieve Customer Service 3.0 for all a community's actors. There's nothing special about 'round the clock' customer service these days. It's the standard.
This calls for automation through digitalisation. Armed with the knowledge that 75% of Belgians own a smartphone with internet access, and that 50% of those use it for their online activities, an app-based solution is clearly the best response to the current demands of society.
The fight for smartphone presence can only be won if a community's actors rally around a ONE APP solution. That's how the wood can be seen for the trees. The battle cry must surely be: all for one and one for all in the mobile world.
To pursue this we incorporate multiple partners and combine various interesting functionalities in ONE APP bearing the city or local authority's brand. Does it sound simple? Of course it does. Services should be transparent and easy to access. Not the other way round.
